• Local Network: Used to discover and connect to other devices running Bytez on the same Wi-Fi or local network.
• Storage / Media Library: Used to read the files you choose to send and to save the files you receive.
• Notifications: Used to alert you when an incoming file transfer is initiated or completed.
• Device Info: Used to display a friendly name (e.g., "Alex's MacBook") to other devices on your network for identification during transfers.

3. Third-Party Services

Bytez does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. We do not share any information with third parties because we do not collect any information in the first place.

Since transfers occur locally, the security of your data depends on the security of your local network. We recommend using Bytez only on trusted Wi-Fi networks.
