NoAds is a Safari content-blocking extension for iOS and macOS. Its sole purpose is to filter web content locally on your device using declarative content-blocking rules. We have built this app with a strict privacy-first approach.
We do not collect any of the following:
NoAds operates as a Safari Content Blocker and Safari Web Extension. All blocking rules are processed natively by Safari using Apple's declarative content-blocking API. The app never has access to the content of web pages you visit.
App preferences (such as which filter categories you have enabled) are stored locally on your device using Apple's standard UserDefaults / App Group container. This data never leaves your device.
NoAds does not integrate any third-party analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or data-collection services. There are no in-app trackers.
The app is distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple may collect certain usage and diagnostic data as described in Apple's Privacy Policy.
NoAds does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. Since no personal data is collected at all, the app is safe for use by children.
If we ever make material changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, provide additional notice through the App Store release notes.
