Scrollwise Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the “Scrollwise” mobile application ("Application") created by Tithi Pal ("Service Provider") as a Freemium service. This service is provided "AS IS".

The Application collects certain information automatically when you download and use it. This information may include:

• The pages or screens you visit within the Application
• The time and date of your usage
• The amount of time spent using the Application
• Your mobile operating system version

Scrollwise does not collect precise GPS location data from your device.

The Application may use approximate location information based on your IP address for analytics, performance improvements, regional functionality, and service optimization. Any such data is aggregated and anonymized whenever possible.

Accessibility Service Usage

Scrollwise uses the Android AccessibilityService API to detect usage of supported short-video and social media applications in order to provide its core functionality, including:

• Tracking reels, Shorts, and short-video consumption
• Counting watched videos
• Applying daily limits and scroll blocking features
• Providing screen time insights and usage analytics

Scrollwise does not read personal messages, collect typed text, record keystrokes, capture passwords, or store sensitive personal information. All processing happens locally on your device whenever possible.

Personal Information

The Application may request limited personally identifiable information only when necessary to provide certain features or support services. Any information provided by users is retained and used only as described in this Privacy Policy.

Third-Party Services

The Application may use trusted third-party services that have their own privacy policies. These services may collect anonymized usage information to help improve app performance and stability.

The Service Provider does not sell or share personal information with third parties except in the following situations:

You can stop all information collection by uninstalling the Application using the standard uninstall process available on your device or app marketplace.

The Application is not directed toward children under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If it is discovered that a child under 13 has provided personal information, such information will be deleted promptly.

This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Application after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
